Brewer: Richard Adamson from Sydney’s Young Henrys
What beer are you making for GABS?
We’re making a fruit and spice IPA that takes it’s cues from Campari. We’re working along the lines of a lot of bitter orange combining with big resinous, piney, fruity hops.
What’s it called?
The name is a work in progress.
Where did the inspiration come from?
There’s been a few bars making Campari & IPA spritzers which are delicious. We thought it would be fun to deconstruct Campari and have those flavours come through in a beer.
Tell us why you have chosen to brew a Festival Beer for GABS
We’ve enjoyed being part of GABS for a few years now and always love the opportunity to make a new beer.
