What beer are you making for GABS?
We are making a Belgian Quadruple IPA, trying to stress our yeast out to get it to 16 per cent abv!
What’s it called?
Brutus.
Where did the inspiration come from?
It is a beer that I made in New Zealand, but only managed to get it to 12 per cent abv. We wanted a beer that is BIG in malt, hops and alcohol.
For those who might over-indulge, do you have a suggestion for a post-GABS hangover remedy?
Often prevention is better than cure – I find drinking lots of water while having a night out helps prevent the hangover.
