“About 15 years ago, we began the informal practice of reaching out to brewers we respected, who were smaller than we were, to start a working relationship. As we outgrew a piece of equipment we thought they could use, we’d offer it to them for a good price. This way we knew our equipment had found a nice home with breweries as passionate about making quality beers as we are. For a long time, the beer brewed at Russian River came off the brew house we sold them, and all the beer from Allagash was kegged for a stretch on our old kegging line.”
