GABS Brewer 2016: Ben Weymouth from Napoleone Brewers in Victoria

What beer are you making for GABS?
An American Style Wheat Beer with juniper and bitter orange.

What’s it called?
Not 100% sure yet – open to suggestions.

Where did the inspiration come from?
A small batch staff beer we did during the year that was a mix of base malts and wheat. We liked it and expanded on the idea.

Tell us why you have chosen to brew a Festival Beer for GABS
I always enjoy the opportunity of playing around with beer recipes and process and GABS is a great excuse to do that.

the Ale obsession, it would be great to see more craft lagers.

The Great Australasian Beer Spectapular is on May 20-22 at the Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton, Victoria, May 27-28 at the Australian Technology Park in Eveleigh, NSW and June 18 at ASB Showgrounds, Greenlane, Auckland.
