I don’t really get Snapchat. But I picked this tweet because at heart my beer reviewing system is limited to “good” and “bad”. If I write a blog post about a beer it means padding things out with more words.

Yep, you probably already knew about this crowdfunding effort from New Zealand’s Yeastie Boys. At this stage it does seem quite different from Stone’s cash grab. That’s because it appears people who take part actually own a stake in the company – an ongoing investment. Which is a whole lot different to someone like Stone putting out their hand for money and then fibbing about what it was buying.

Number 3: BRW – Craft brewers lead canned beer comeback
Hey, did you hear that good beer is being canned these days? Yeah, it’s far from news for us beer geeks. Still, this is an interesting read.

Number 4: Modern Farmer – We Like Beers. So Do (Some) Donkeys
With that headline, you just have to read this story, don’t you? But I do wonder, if a donkey drinks too much, does he make an ass of himself? Ha, I say. Ha!
