Number 1: This tweet from @jonogaluszka
Yeah, it’s a bit self-indulgent, posting a tweet in which someone praises you. But, hey, when I got this, it made me feel sooooo good. Big smiley face for days. So hopefully, kind reader, you will permit me this indulgence.
Number 2: The Crafty Pint – A Very Crafty Beer Book
James Smith of Crafty Pint fame has written his first book – 150 Great Australian Beers. It should be in all good bookstores (and maybe the bad ones too) by now. I recommend you go buy one. Go do it on your lunch break. Then read it this weekend.
Number 3: Yakima Herald – Contracts Take Spike out of Rising Hop Prices
An interesting piece from the centre of hop growth in the United States. where brewers are already fighting over the 2020 hop crop harvest.
Number 4: This gif – just because it’s funny
Number 5: Craig Ferguson – The Late, Late Show
Craig is a damn funny guy, even when he’s talking about something serious – like why he quit drinking and what that has to do with Britney Spears.
Number 6: Beer Is Your Friend – A Month Without Alcohol
In which I rubbish alcohol-free months like Dry July, Ocsober and FebFast. Less than a year later, I’d be doing one of them. How things change.
…and it’s not beer, but you’ll like it

Yep, you score a big fat LIKE for this because of The Scaries clip. I’ve never heard of the band or song before, but it hits my 90s g-spot perfectly. Cheers!
I found them through my days of being a music webzine creator. Their US label sent me some discs. Good stuff.
They had two albums out. Should be on Spotify, Napster or whatever you kids use to find music these days.
