It’s the Fourth of July so I figured it meant I should drink an American beer. And one of my favourite US beers is Samuel Adams Noble Pils.
It’s apparently one of the few beers made with all five noble hops. And I’m not going to even pretend to know what “noble hops” are.
But I do know enough to know that those hops are what provides the oh-so-wonderful citrus flavours in this beer.
Even though it’s winter it makes me feel like it’s summer for a small moment. Because this is exactly what a summer beer should be like. Light, crisp but with a delicate fruity flavour.
It’s wonderful and I’m so glad they decided to send some over here.
Would I drink it again?: Definitely. It’s why I bought a six-pack of it and not just one bottle.
