“It’s ridiculous in Australia on so many levels. It encourages the use of 50-litre kegs, which apart from anything else, from a health and safety perspective generally weigh about 65 kilograms when they’re full, which legally I believe means it requires three people to shift a keg.
“I’ve never seen three people shift a keg anywhere in the country. Plus there’s only two handles on a 50-litre keg anyway. You think of the cost in terms of the strain that puts on people’s bodies.”
