“A man who won a prize of three free beers a day for the rest of his life in a promotional contest when the Captain James Cook Hotel in Narrabundah opened in 1970 has won damages against the then owner for non-supply of the prize since 1975.
“Should the defendant, Noahs Ltd, not supply Mr John Francis, of Lyons, with his free beer in future, he will be able to sue it for further damages.”
