A great listen from Frozen Summers about how much excise and retail add to the cost of a beer. I knew excise was a fair bit, but not quite this much. No way are government’s going to say “hey, lets stop charging excise on beer and give away that huge revenue stream”.

Breweries are going the crowdfunding route to get stuff done, so why not beer writers? Pete Brown is giving it a crack. As a (much less well-known) beer writer, I’ve already pledged some bucks.
