Number 1: This tweet from The Crafty Pint
I’ll be celebrating this a day late – February is my self-imposed dry month. But it’s better than last year, when it was a week earlier. I bought a few growlers of beer from the shared taps at the Illawarra Brewing Company brewhouse and they sat in my fridge for a whole week before I could touch them. This time it’ll be less than a day’s wait.
Number 2: Matador Network – What Bartenders Actually Think Of Your Beer Selection
The headline should actually read “What The Person Who Wrote This Story Thinks Of Your Beer Selection”. And I’m not even sure the author is a bartender. It’s just a piece of rubbish that describes the characters of those who buy a certain style of beer. It’s just terrible.
Number 3: The Guardian – How Craft Beer Has Set Struggling Pubs Free From The Nachos
Love that headline – and this piece about how the rise in independent breweries and the interest in beer has helped save some pubs from closure.
Number 4: Yahoo Food – 8 Founding Fathers’ Insane Drinking Habits
Check out what some of America’s founding fathers were putting away and try telling me they weren’t total pissheads.
Number 5: Beer Is Your Friend – Complete Beer Course
In which I review a book that’s perfect for the good beer newcomer.
Number 6: …. and it’s not beer but you’ll like it.
