Me, I’d have thought the biggest benefit of a six-pack over six separate bottles of beer (which, in ye olde days, they would wrap up in newspaper so you could carry them home).
But that’s not right according to this Bulimba Gold Top ad. The main selling point is that the six-pack comes at “No extra cost” , a phrase they flash up on the screen no fewer than three times. Ah, those were the innocent times, when a six-pack was a major technological advance.

You’d have thought the biggest benefit was … the reduced price per bottle?
I’d have thought the convenience would be the big seller. Beats the hell out carrying six separate bottles home.
