A few days ago I got the word via Twitter that the Illawarra Brewery had put three new beers on their swinging taps.
They’re all from the Mornington Peninsula Brewery, run by Andy Gow (who used to brew for the Illawarra Brewing Company and gave present-day brewers Ashur and Shaun a crash course in brewing when he left).
And they’re all beers I’ve never tried before. And I’m too busy this weekend to get down to the brewery to try them.
And that’s the unfair bit. That there are three beers on tap that I’ve never had and – this weekend at least – I have no chance of trying them. Sounds like a minor problem but I’ve become enough of a beer geek to fret about the possibility of the beers being gone by the time I get a chance to make it down.
So unfair indeed.
