You know what you’ll find if you head to the Illawarra Brewery bar today?
A bloody big stout from Feral called Boris. It’s part of the Western Australian brewery’s Brewpub Series, that sees previously tap-only beers put into bottles.
That said, there are also some kegs of Boris going around and the brewery bar has gotten its hands on some. The guys down at the brewery have been holding this one back until Dry July finished – so no-one would miss out.
But keep in mind it’s a Russian imperial stout, so it’s great big beer. So great that, because it clocks in at 9.1 per cent, it’ll only be served in middies.
The really dangerous thing is that it doesn’t taste like a 9.1 percenter. So be very careful around Boris – it goes down very easy.
