The waiting game

image

One very empty fermenter.

Right now my fermenter is empty – as you might have guessed by this photo. And it’s empty on purpose. See, I figured out I’ve got about four crates of homebrew sitting there waiting to be drunk, so it would be a bit dumb to go ahead and brew another two crates worth.
I mean I like beer but I can’t get through the stuff that quickly.
I found out tonight I’ve actually got examples of the last five brews I’ve made. There’s almost all of the last brew, called Indian Cricketer (if you want the crappy story behind that name leave a message below) and most of the Pale Canadian Toucan before that.
Then there’s about half of the caramel-vanilla stout, a bit of the Stone & Wood Pacific Ale clone and a bottle or two of the Hoppy Hefe.
While having plenty of homebrew to drink is a good problem to have, I actually miss the fun of homebrewing. But it’s hard to justify putting down a new brew when most of your bottles are already full of beer.
